My work with York Fashion Week
2018 - present

I’m a founding member and Director of York Fashion Week. This is a city wide event dedicated to celebrating independent and grassroots fashion design. Since launch the event has worked with iconic brands such as Bentley Leeds, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds, Gary James McQueen and Lois Vuitton Leeds. But also been a stepping stone for independent designers who have gone on to build their careers across the globe.

The event started off as a one off event, but quickly evolved into a bi-annual celebration. My role in the event includes project management, event curation, art direction and show production. We’ve worked with some of the biggest venues in the city, and I’m managed teams of up to 70 to create stand out shows.Alongside the creative aspect of the role, I work with the team to grow the business. This includes business outreach, nurturing sponsorship relationships and managing the PR team.
